AN ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF OBERLIN, KANSAS, FROM PORTIONS OF K.S.A. 15-204.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OBERLIN, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City of Oberlin, Kansas, by the power vested in it, under the appropriate Kansas law, elects to make inapplicable to it, and exempt itself from K.S.A. 15-204 and K.S.A. 15-209.

SECTION 2. The City Council shall develop and implement policies and procedures for employing, evaluating and retaining or not retaining in employment all nonelected personnel, including those enumerated in K.S.A. 15-204.

SECTION 3. City Code Articles 1-301, 1-302, 1-303 and 1-304 are hereby repealed.
